Game Programmer

Archon Games is seeking a Programmer experienced in Torque Powered products.  We are interested in individuals looking to get a jump start on their careers by working with an established team of professionals.  Candidates must be self-motivated, highly productive, very passionate about games and your work, organized, assertive, and fun to work with.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Game Programming or related courses (Or ability to prove necessary skills for writing both engine code and scripts for Torque Powered products)
• Ability to write modular code in a variety of languages, but primarily C++ and C#
• The following additional programming languages are not required, but would be beneficial to know:  HTML, PHP, SQL
• Minimum of 2 years experience writing game scripts
• Proficiency with industry standard tools such as Visual Studio
• Must have dependable internet access
• Must have passion for your work and a strong desire to be a part of the gaming industry

 Scriptor

Archon Games is seeking a Scriptor experienced in Torque Powered products.  We are interested in individuals looking to get a jump start on their careers by working with an established team of professionals.  Candidates must be self-motivated, highly productive, very passionate about games and your work, organized, assertive, and fun to work with.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Game Programming or related courses (Or ability to prove necessary skills for writing scripts for Torque Powered products)
• Ability to write scripts for use in Torque Powered products, primarily the 3D line of Torque Game Engines.
• The following additional programming languages are not required, but would be beneficial to know:  HTML, PHP, SQL
• Minimum of 1 consecutive year experience exclusively with TorqueScript
• Proficiency with industry standard tools such as Visual Studio
• Must have dependable internet access
• Must have passion for your work and a strong desire to be a part of the gaming industry
